Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated International Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and administering employee benefits programs across multiple countries. This role is crucial in ensuring our global workforce receives competitive and compliant benefits packages.
Key Responsibilities:

Global Benefits Administration:
- Manage and oversee international employee benefits programs including health retirement and other ancillary benefits.
- Coordinate with local and global vendors to ensure the effective delivery of benefits services.

Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure compliance with local national and international benefits regulations and employment laws.
- Monitor changes in global benefits legislation and adjust programs as necessary.

Program Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement international benefits strategies that align with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to keep benefits packages competitive and attractive.

Employee Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding international benefits queries and issues.
- Provide guidance and support on benefits enrollment claims and resolutions.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze benefits data to evaluate the effectiveness and utilization of international benefits programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on benefits trends and recommendations.

Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with benefits providers and brokers.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements to ensure optimal service delivery.

Training and Communication:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and HR teams on international benefits.
- Create and distribute clear and informative communication materials regarding benefits changes and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. CEBS GBA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits with a focus on international programs.
- Strong knowledge of global benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in vendor management and benefits program design.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and benefits management software.
