Additional Information:

Candidate expected to work onsite in a hybrid work model based on teams onsite schedule (currently 15 days per quarter).

Candidate will be remote and be ready to travel to Michigan when required.

Job Description:

This position will be part of the IERP API Enablement and Enhancements teams in the Enterprise Architecture Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services in S4 HANA.

Below are the highlevel roles and responsibilities:

Design and develop APIs to connect to SAP/NonSAP using RFC ALE/IDOCs Output Programming using SAP Script Smart forms Adobe Forms.

Integration with NonSAP systems using Web Services/Proxies/APIs.

Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDP classes.

Enhancing SAP system using BADIs User exits Customer exits and enhancement framework options

Build RICEFWs (Reports Interfaces Conversions Extensions Forms and Workflows)

Experience with IDOC and API Integrations using OData API SOAP API and IDOC as XML.

Good understanding of XML JSON SOAP API and REST Web services

Performance Tuning problem solving skills and Debugging/Defect Management

Strong experience in ABAP programming and development of ODATA services (preferably OOPS based).

Good experience in ABAP Syntax 7.5 and in BRF and in SAP upgrade projects

To consult with architects to ensure design compliant to architecture standards and principles

Reviews code developed by software engineers and provide feedback to ensure quality deliverable

Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development

Lead creation of production support documentation and provide production support for the objects developed

Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience preferably in the Finance Purchasing and Manufacturing modules

Exposure to SAP RISE BTP integration tools RAP and CAP is preferred
