Job Description
Job Title: Azure Data Factory Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: LongTerm Contract
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field with 10 years of experience in data platforms data engineering and ETL processes.
- Expertise in building complex ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Strong working ability in defining data validation quality checks and creating transformation logic using ADF.
- Handson experience in Azure Data Factory orchestration managing dependencies and writing data transformation logic.
- Good understanding of Modern Data Warehouse data wrangling and data pipeline architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL advanced query analysis and development.
- Strong problemsolving and creative thinking skills particularly related to ADFs orchestration.
- Experience in data migrations building data pipelines and performance optimization using ADF.
- Strong understanding of ADF orchestration concepts and experience creating data frames from a variety of sources.
- Experience writing scripts in PowerShell or another comparable scripting language for automation.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with other Azure services like Azure Data Lake Analytics Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
- Good understanding of Azure Databricks and integration with ADF for ETL processes.
- Strong business intuition with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for developers.
- Demonstrated ability to guide team members in ETL development tasks and resolve technical blockers.
