Job Description
Job Title: Data Governance
Location: Salt Lake City UT (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Job Overview:
- You will be focusing on building a Data Governance Framework that enables the business to operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include
- Building data governance framework by designing and implementing the business and technical rules to measure data quality along the daily data pipeline for a wide variety of consumer products like credit cards personal loans deposits etc.
- Building data quality dashboards in Tableau to reporting data quality health at different levels
- Working closely with business partners and technology leaders to evaluate the key areas of data quality improvement
- Facilitating and arbitratin the data quality issue resolution cross business and technology stakeholders including external vendors.
Skills And Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Handson experience with one or more mainstream programming languages (Python Java C Scala C etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Experience in working with databases (Oracle Sybase IQ Snowflake Hadoop etc.).
- At least 1 years experience in a visualization tool such as Tableau
- At least 2 years experience dealing with data (structured or unstructured)
- Ability to explain data analysis to drive business ideas.
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completion
- Interest in applying technical knowledge to Financial Services industry
