Access Global Group has an immediate opening for a Backend Java Developer Contractor
- Lead project priorities deadlines and deliverables utilizing AGILE methodologies to ensure efficient project .
- Develop highperformance highavailability and faulttolerant software systems for complex distributed applications.
- Contribute to the development of robust solutions including a global multiasset trading platform and nextgeneration compliance systems.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to define and implement the product roadmap.
- Design develop and optimize innovative solutions to technical challenges while mentoring and guiding junior developers for increased team productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java backend development with a strong understanding of concurrent programming.
- Expertise in building distributed systems with SQL and/or NoSQL technologies (e.g. MS SQL Cassandra Redis).
- Experience with message brokers (e.g. Kafka) or messaging frameworks (e.g. gRPC) for scalable communication systems.
- Strong analytical and software architecture skills with a focus on testdriven development and faulttolerant system design.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; effective communication and presentation skills are a must. Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
OTHER:
Must have no other fulltime commitments ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
LOCATION Remote US Physical Resident Required
