Job Title: Economic Analyst
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Economic Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in interpreting complex financial information and helping shape strategies that drive business growth and economic stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret economic and financial data to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop economic models and forecasts to predict future market conditions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on economic research findings.
- Monitor key economic indicators and assess their impact on the business and broader economy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide economic insights and support decisionmaking.
- Stay updated on global economic trends policy changes and financial markets.
- Support risk management by analyzing potential economic risks and opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to enhance business operations based on economic analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Economics Finance or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 35 years of experience in economic analysis financial research or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in economic modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g. Excel R Stata).
- Knowledge of global economic policies and financial markets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Compensation:
- Salary: $70000 $90000 per year (commensurate with experience).
