Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join the team responsible for managing deploying and maintaining security devices.
You will work within a dynamic team on multiple projects handling the management and deployment of security equipment such as Firewalls Load Balancers WAFs Reverse Proxies and VPNs. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to core network projects including deploying Cisco SDA.
Responsibilities
- Security Infrastructure Management: Assess security infrastructure needs (Firewalls Load Balancers VPNs) based on system and user requirements; plan for infrastructure readiness.
- RFP Management: Draft and manage the RFP process for security hardware solutions.
- Core Project Involvement: Participate in key projects such as researching and deploying a new Proxy Infrastructure.
Security Infrastructure Support
- Provide thirdline support for technical issues related to security hardware and software.
- Assist with the administration of the security infrastructure and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Project Followup
- Prepare document and deploy solutions and projects with clear deliverables and commitments working closely with colleagues and team management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of expertise in F5 WAF Load Balancing and Reverse Proxy (APM ASM LTM).
- Professional experience in security network engineering (installation management and troubleshooting of security equipment like Checkpoint Palo Alto Firewalls and ASA VPNs).
- Ability to manage and follow the RFP process.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies (BGP OSPF spanningtree).
- Analytical mindset for evaluating security solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong teamwork communication and technical writing skills.
- Selfstarter with proven ability to meet deadlines plan and organize.
- Experience with project documentation and change management.
- Good command of French or Dutch with basic knowledge of the other.
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with network equipment like Cisco ACI and DNA.
- Experience with cloud network management particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Windows systems (MS Office Active Directory).
- Awareness of ITIL concepts.
