Overview:
The HR Recruiter plays a crucial role in attracting screening and hiring top talent to meet the organizations staffing needs. They collaborate closely with hiring managers conduct interviews and ensure a seamless recruitment process. Their work directly impacts the companys ability to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment plans
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Prepare and post job descriptions on job boards career websites and social media platforms
- Assist in the creation of interview questions and jobrelated assessments
- Facilitate background checks and drug tests preemployment
- Prepare personnel files and update the internal database
- Participate in HR projects (e.g. policy review employee engagement activities)
- Stay updated on HR trends and labor legislation
- Build the companys professional network through relationships with new and existing candidates employees and industry contacts
- Contribute to the improvement of the companys employer brand
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an inhouse recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Handson experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone video group)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Certification in HR or recruiting (e.g. PHR SPHR or LinkedIn/Boolean search certification) is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
