Job Description
- Collaborate with a team of DevOps engineers to maintain software programs during the operational phase.
- Work with cloud technologies from major providers (AWS Azure etc.) for build deployment and administration.
- Communicate with vendors and customers to ensure smooth operation and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot software and infrastructure problems to meet quality standards and operational expectations.
- Provide L3 support for cloud environments and middlewares handling change administration and performance management.
- Implement automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions for enterprise customers.
- Work outside regular business hours when needed to accommodate customer operational needs.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in operations engineering or related roles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux and cloud platforms focusing on operational activities.
- Handson experience with major cloud service providers (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong team player with initiative and the ability to handle situations independently.
- Experience working with Government projects is a plus.
- Ability to mentor team members and work with minimal supervision.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate.
- Proficiency in Linux or RHEL.
- Experience with CI/CD deployment tools.
- Familiarity with GCC (Government on Commercial Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficient with Git and MySQL or SQL scripting.
- Scripting skills (e.g. Bash).
