Overview of the Job:
The Warehouse Manager is a key role within the organisation responsible for
overseeing and managing the endtoend supply chain operations for a specific
product or product category. The role plays a vital role in the company by
ensuring the smooth of supply chain activities supporting business
growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations ensuring smooth and
efficient Processes.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for
receiving handling
storing and dispatching of materials.
Monitor and manage warehouse layout and space utilisation to maximise
operational
efficiency. Should be able to efficiently develop a planogram for warehouse
layouts including
storage and location planning.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders from receipt to dispatch
and avoid defined
TAT breach.
Coordinate with various stakeholders & ensure alignment of
warehouse activities with
business needs.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety
regulations.
Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management
systems (WMS) and
other relevant technology.
Analyze warehouse performance metrics.
Lead the daily directionsetting process by reporting results highlighting
issues and
requesting vital resources.
Reconciliation of weekly/Monthly purchase to COGS.
Ensure all commercial compliance is met and SOPs are adhered to.
Should be able to identify and eliminate potential transaction losses.
Responsible for maintaining accurate data with regards to daytoday
warehouse
transactions.
Should take complete ownership of the ERP Warehouse Module and
improvise on this to
increase efficiency of operation by automation.
Own the complete MDM define various attribute levels as per the business
requirement
