Manager of Digital Experience

About the Role
As the Manager of Digital Experience you will play a pivotal role in driving strategy and performance across our portfolio companies consumerfacing sites. This role will focus on driving online sales growth enhancing the customer experience and building brand loyalty across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for eCommerce and offers a proven track record in driving sales growth while creating an exceptional online shopping experience for consumers.

Responsibilities
- Execute DTC strategies and plans to drive sales meet financial objectives and ensure proper prioritization of initiatives and resources across our CPG brands
- Manage and optimize our eCommerce platform(s) to maximize conversion rates average order value and customer lifetime value.
- Scan consumer brand retail technology and environment for leading DTC tech stacks and best practices and provide implementation and recommendations to our portfolio companies.
- Establish track and report performance KPIs and strive for iterative ongoing improvements of our DTC programs.
- Analyze site and performance to identify relevant insights and build plans to improve increased traffic increase conversion increase average order value and grow attachment rates and units per transaction.
- Leverage MarTech tools to design targeted consumer journeys aimed at boosting traffic and conversion rates. Collaborate with marketing channel leads to ensure these journeys are attributed to the correct acquisition channels and spend and are cohesive and seamless.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all online activities in relation to traffic acquisition sales conversion a/b testing retention and reporting alongside existing agencies.
- Ensure excellence in across all site operations and DTC activities.
- Stay attuned to best practices competitive activity and evolving technology that can help drive business improvements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree digital focus preferred
- 5 years of ecommerce marketing and merchandising experience on a direct to consumer business with a brand
- Selfstarter and growth hacker you like to get into the weeds and execute as well as think big and create blue ocean strategies
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer experience
- Passion for and experience within the CPG industry
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify Klaviyo etc.) digital marketing channels and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Experience with DTC sales and promotions planning merchandising budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with customer acquisition/retention/loyalty programs and media customer journeys and managing customer experience
- Experience managing teams and working with crossfunctional teams
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with indepth analysis and large data sets
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding fastpaced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills including building and presenting business strategy analysis and insights
