Position Overview:
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will play a key role in shaping our social media strategy and executing campaigns that align with our broader marketing goals. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media channels creating compelling content and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our social media presence. You will work closely with the marketing sales and product teams to ensure that our messaging resonates with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as LinkedIn Twitter Facebook Instagram and YouTube focusing on increasing brand awareness and engagement.
Manage the daytoday operations of all social media channels including posting content responding to comments and engaging with followers.
Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to create and manage social media campaigns that align with business goals and product launches.
Craft compelling and creative content that aligns with cybersecurity themes and resonates with target audiences including blogs infographics and videos.
Work with internal teams (product sales and content) to develop and promote content that highlights the company s value proposition thought leadership and product offerings.
Monitor social media trends cybersecurity news and competitor activities to inform content creation and engagement strategies.
Use analytics tools to track and report on social media performance metrics including engagement reach lead generation and conversions.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report progress to the Head of Marketing with actionable insights and recommendations.
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends tools and best practices particularly in the cybersecurity space.
Manage paid social media advertising campaigns and budgets to ensure costeffective lead generation.
Participate in online communities forums and groups related to cybersecurity to foster relationships and increase brand visibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role preferably in the cybersecurity SaaS or tech industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms their audiences and best practices for engagement and growth.
Experience creating and managing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement lead generation and brand awareness.
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite Buffer Sprout Social or others.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights to improve social media strategies.
Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing content including graphics videos and infographics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
Bachelor s degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a SaaS or cybersecurity startup environment.
Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies that complement social media efforts.
Experience running and optimizing paid social media campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn Facebook and Twitter.
Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and the ability to integrate them into social media content.
Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
