Responsibilities:

• Provide business and technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives ensuring efficiency.
  

General Skills:

• Provides specialized expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of systems solutions.
  
• Ability to evaluate recommendations and ensures all recommended solutions for improvement are congruent with the project goals and objectives
  
• Identifies short and longterm project goals/objectives and defines program and service delivery requirements in support of the development and/or acquisition of client applications
  
• Leads the analysis and documentation of design and architecture of systems solutions.
  
• Overseeing testing integration and implementation of systems solutions into the clients applications
  
• Guides the feasibility studies and cost effective analyses of proposed client I&IT initiatives ensures all studies and analyses are documented
  
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements translating business documents into technical specifications
  
• Experience leading project teams supporting multidimensional services and applications for effective planning budgeting strategizing and forecasting procedures
  
• Ability to provide implementation and post implementation support as required
  
• Oversees the research and evaluation of the technical components in the acquisition of software hardware technology systems and products
  
• Recommends and directs the measurement and improvement of tools techniques standards and performance criteria to control the quality of application development initiatives
  
• Provides coaching and direction to junior staff throughout the project through all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle
  
• Ability to gather review and provide feedback to business requirements
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Handson experience in preparing detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure compliance with appropriate OPS standards on security privacy and accessibility (TRA PIA Architecture gating processes) (must have)
  
• Experience to carry out Quality Assurance Testing
  
• Indepth knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Standards and AODA Compliancy levels
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Driver and Vehicle ServiceOntario portal services
  

Skill Set Requirements:

System/Business Analyst experience:

• Handson experience in preparing detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure compliance with appropriate OPS standards on security privacy and accessibility (TRA PIA Architecture gating processes) (must have)
  
• Experience to carry out all types of manual Quality Assurance Testing (must have)
  
• Handson experience with BRD: analyzing business requirements and creating test data requirements (must have)
  
• Solid experience with triaging defects participating and leading triage meetings and producing defect summary reports (must have)
  
• Solid experience creating Test Strategy/Test Plan document (must have)
  
• Conduct Design and technical JAD walkthrough sessions with the project team
  
• Understanding of systems environments business analysis and change management in projects or programs related to integrated multiministries government services
  
• Experience in producing business and technical documentation and agreements
  

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of theory and principles of systems design and development programming concepts and languages and related methods techniques practices and standards
  
• Indepth knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Standards and AODA Compliancy levels (must have)
  
• Knowledge and experience working with Wireframes Use Cases User Stories (must have)
  

Project experience:

• Experience with Driver and Vehicle ServiceOntario portal services (must have)
  
• Knowledge and experience with Address Lookup services and Government Payment Gateway (must have)
