Job Description
Senior Costing / Business Analyst
This is a fulltime employment opportunity (No C2C subcontractor or 1099 engagements please.)
The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. This is a remote opportunity.
Daily Responsibilities
Work with project teams and SMEs to determine cost estimates for IT solutions.
Perform financial research and analysis between various types of IT services and technology solutions.
Develop cost estimates based on both business and technical requirements provided.
Conduct market research and analysis of various solutions and determine the cost to deliver proposed solutions.
Seek ways to improve accuracy of forecasting costs for IT services and solutions.
Focus on delivering solutions that are cost effective and are in alignment with the clients Enterprise Architecture roadmap.
Support the CTO Deputy CTO Chief Architect Emergent Technology Branch Chief and the IT Governance Lead to provide cost estimates for proposed solutions and IT services.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident as mandated by our government client.
Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
7 years of cost accounting cost estimating or equivalent role in an IT environment developing standard costs or new product development and/or project management.
Proficient in researching compiling analyzing and interpreting data with accuracy and timeliness.
Experience in IT costing assessments and controls standard costing and variance analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel (particularly with modeling pivot tables and advanced formulas) Teams Word PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
BS/BA degree in Accounting Finance Information Sciences or related discipline.
