Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting risk assessments and security audits
- Monitoring and analyzing security incidents
- Implementing and managing security tools and technologies
- Developing security awareness training programs
- Investigating security breaches and incidents
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure security best practices
- Managing access controls and user permissions
- Responding to security incidents and coordinating incident response
- Conducting security research and staying updated with industry trends
- Developing and maintaining security documentation and reports
- Participating in security compliance efforts
- Conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Assisting in the implementation of security protocols and encryption technologies
- Participating in security improvement initiatives
- Contributing to disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Knowledge of networking and operating systems
- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest security trends
- Relevant internships or projects in the cyber security domain
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies
- Basic understanding of risk management and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security CEH or CISSP (desirable)
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST GDPR) (desirable)
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (desirable)
