Job Description

Overview

The Senior SAP FI Business Analyst (AR/AP) plays a crucial role in leveraging SAP FI solutions for the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions in the organization. They are responsible for analyzing business requirements configuring SAP FI modules and ensuring smooth and efficient financial processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Design configure and implement SAP FI solutions to support AR/AP functions
  • Lead and participate in SAP FI module enhancements and upgrades
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality integrity and accuracy of the SAP FI system
  • Provide expertise and support for financial data analysis and reporting
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SAP FI configurations processes and procedures
  • Conduct user training and support for SAP FI systems
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams for process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in SAP FI projects and provide recommendations to optimize AR/AP processes
  • Stay updated with SAP FI best practices industry trends and regulations

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst specializing in SAP FI particularly in AR/AP processes
  • Proven experience in configuring SAP FI modules for accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Strong understanding of financial systems processes and controls
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practices
  • Certification in SAP FI or related field is a plus
