Overview:
The Assistant Manager HR plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department of the corporate office. They are responsible for various HR activities and contribute to the overall people management strategies of the organization. This remote position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with different departments and support the HR teams initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in recruitment processes including sourcing screening and interviewing candidates.
- Manage employee relations addressing employee issues and ensuring a positive working environment.
- Support performance management by assisting with appraisals feedback sessions and goal setting.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws and company guidelines.
- Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate training and development programs.
- Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives and special projects.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Conduct employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
- Oversee HR recordkeeping and documentation.
- Contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs.
- Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations.
- Participate in HR data analysis and reporting.
- Manage and resolve employee conflicts or grievances.
- Coordinate with external vendors for HRrelated services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 24 years of experience in HR roles with increasing responsibility.
- Prior experience in recruitment employee relations and performance management.
- Strong understanding of HR policies labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proven capability to drive HR initiatives and lead projects.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- HR certifications such as PHR or SHRMCP are a plus.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
- Knowledge of best practices in training and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
