We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. This Job Requisition outlines the training for graduates who wish to learn mechanical aspects of robotics to develop their skills and knowledge as Mechanical Design Engineers within Genrobotics Advanced Robotic Research and Learning Centre
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Equip the students with the necessary expertise in mechanical design principles specifically relevant to robotics.
- Enhance their proficiency in SolidWorks software.
- Foster a deep understanding of robotic systems including dynamics kinematics and mechanical design.
- Develop strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address engineering challenges in robotics.
- Cultivate effective collaboration skills to work seamlessly with other engineers and researchers.
- Able to monitor a group of students.
Key Skills:
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks
- Mechanical Design for Robotics: Understanding of mechanisms actuators linkages and other robotic components.
- Advanced CAD Software: Proficiency in industrystandard CAD software used by Genrobotics (e.g. SolidWorks Creo).
- Robotics Fundamentals: Knowledge of robot dynamics kinematics and control systems.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Ability to analyze stress and optimize structures for robotic applications.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Designing components with manufacturing processes in mind.
Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1 2 Years
