Overview:
The DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in the organization bridging the gap between development operations and quality assurance teams. This role is central to implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools needed to support the software development lifecycle enabling the continuous delivery of highquality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
- Manage and optimize cloudbased infrastructure and services
- Automate provisioning configuration and deployment of infrastructure and applications
- Develop and maintain monitoring logging and alerting systems
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and scalable architecture
- Implement and maintain security measures across infrastructure and applications
- Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Conduct performance and reliability testing of infrastructure and applications
- Manage and support containerization and orchestration technologies
- Implement and manage networking configurations and protocols
- Provide technical guidance and support to crossfunctional teams
- Participate in oncall rotation and incident response activities
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a DevOps or related role
- Deep understanding of cloud computing services (AWS Azure GCP)
- Proficiency in one or more scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell)
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Ansible Terraform Chef)
- Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI)
- Handson experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools for infrastructure and application security
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack Grafana)
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate or similar are a plus
