Job Description
Our client is a leading consultancy firm in the global trade and compliance space seeking an experienced SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team in Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global clients on cuttingedge projects with the potential for career growth and development. We offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates from outside the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation of SAP GTS solutions ensuring alignment with client business requirements.
- Provide expertlevel consulting services for SAP GTS modules including Customs Management Compliance Management and Risk Management.
- Design and configure SAP GTS systems to optimize global trade processes including import/export trade compliance and customs processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders gathering requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- Support integration between SAP GTS and other SAP modules (e.g. SAP SD SAP MM) as well as nonSAP systems.
- Conduct workshops trainings and knowledge transfer sessions for end users and key stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in the SAP GTS landscape.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and SAP GTS enhancements proactively recommending new solutions or improvements to existing processes.
- Support the project lifecycle from blueprinting and configuration to testing golive and postimplementation support.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of handson experience with SAP GTS including configuration and implementation.
- Expertise in key SAP GTS components: Compliance Management (sanctioned party list screening embargo export control) Customs Management (import/export processes) and Risk Management.
- Strong knowledge of global trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Proven ability to deliver fullcycle SAP GTS implementations from requirements gathering to postgolive support.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA integrations.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering highquality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a consultancy or clientfacing role.
- SAP GTS certification or relevant SAP module certifications.
- Experience working with multinational organizations and global trade compliance projects.
