Job Description
Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer
Type: Contract
Location: Texas (100% Remote)
ASSYST is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design develop and maintain a custom APEX application ensuring that the application meets specified business requirements and operates efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Oracle APEX applications based on business needs.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for secure efficient data handling.
- Integrate daily system uploads for seamless data synchronization.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards security policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Extend functionality by integrating APEX plugins.
- Maintain documentation for code and application functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
- Expertise in Oracle APEX and proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database management and optimization.
- Familiarity with APEX plugin integration.
- 8 years of experience with web technologies (JavaScript HTML CSS).
- Strong understanding of security protocols and data protection.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
