Remote Integration Engineer

As a Remote Integration Engineer for Verizon specializing in Samsung equipment you will be responsible for the seamless integration configuration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. Your role will focus on deploying and maintaining Verizons network with a strong emphasis on Samsung telecommunications equipment ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a remote position that requires a high degree of technical expertise coordination with crossfunctional teams and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Samsung Network Equipment Integration: Perform remote integration and configuration of Samsung 4G/5G radios base stations and core network elements into Verizons network.
Testing and Commissioning: Conduct endtoend testing commissioning and validation of equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with Verizons network standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to network performance connectivity and hardware/software malfunctions.
Firmware and Software Upgrades: Remotely execute firmware and software upgrades on Samsung network equipment to ensure compatibility and enhanced performance.
Network Optimization: Analyze network performance metrics and implement adjustments to optimize system functionality and reduce latency or outages.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation and technical reports of integration processes configurations and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including field engineers network architects and customer support teams to ensure smooth deployment and handover of services.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all integrations adhere to Verizons security protocols and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience with Samsung telecommunications equipment in a network integration role.
Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G networks protocols and architecture.
Familiarity with Verizons network infrastructure and standards is a plus.
Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and network management systems.
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other telecommunications vendors (Nokia Ericsson etc.).
Understanding of RF planning and network optimization techniques.
Certifications in Cisco Juniper or Samsungrelated equipment.
