Job Description
Are you friendly reliable and great with people Affinity Services is seeking dedicated Cashiers to join our clients team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment and providing excellent customer service.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Operate the cash register and handle payments (cash credit cards etc.)
- Ensure accurate transaction processing and provide receipts to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product information and resolve any queries
- Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift
- Follow store policies regarding returns exchanges and promotions
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Honest dependable and punctual
