Manager is located in California. However she is completely open to any time zone as this person will be working with colleagues across the U.S. As this person will be required to travel to tradeshows across the country regularly ideally they would be centrally located maybe Texas Chicago Denver near a big airport.

Overseeing process and tools and strategies for trade shows for smart infrastructure business unit
Small 10 x10 to large shows million $ budget
Responsible we have seamless processes; tools are being used by different groups.
Running independently or working with larger teams and being a member
Taking more of lead for planning and of shows
Travel anywhere in the US San Diego LA Dallas Vegas Chicago NYC Orlando centrally located might be a good idea for easier travel.
Someone eager and comfortable with a lot of travel
Occasionally 2 shows a month lasting a couple days.
Chicago and Atlanta do have offices if they live local.
Familiarity with Salesforce would be a plus. To connect events to sales team. Will be trained in Salesforce if no experience.
Understanding connecting a brand to a trade show.
Having branding would be an asset.
Dont have to be industry specific. Need trade show experience and gathering leads. Project Management any sort of complex trade show with stake holders involved.
During Holidays normally do not do trade shows.
February through June are the busiest time for shows then again September thru October
Initial phone interview and then final group interview
Have used Survey Monkey and MS forms of doing analysis.
Limited on Marketing collaterals.
May need to physically set up booths for smaller events.
Once or twice traveling over the weekend
Advanced notice given on when traveling needed.
Some flexibility since do speak to people in Germany not standard.
Minimum of 5 years experience in planning and executing trade shows and events
