We have partnered with a large Wireless Services Company in Goldsboro NC to provide them with a RF Systems Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the RF Systems Engineer:
#1. Over 5 years of handson experience with the maintenance and support of largescale public safety radio networks.
#2. Indepth understanding of L3Harris land mobile radio (LMR) systems including simulcast P25 radio technology and microwave communication systems.
#3. Strong technical skills in Linux SQL Server Microsoft platforms Cisco networking devices Firepower firewalls and VMware virtualization.
Requirements of the RF Systems Engineer:
- 5 years of experience in maintaining large public safety radio networks.
- Extensive knowledge of L3Harris land mobile radio (LMR) systems simulcast P25 radio technology and microwave systems.
- Technical proficiency in Linux SQL server Microsoft Cisco networking devices Firepower firewalls VMware.
- Strong proficiency in computer skills including networking.
- Knowledge of telecommunications test equipment.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and network security.
- Excellent troubleshooting communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications (e.g. CCNP CISSP).
Travel: Approximately 25%.
Other Key Requirements:
- Onsite role
- Candidates must pass a preemployment background check; drug screen and have a valid US Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
- No suspensions within the past five years.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No CorptoCorp.
