Location: Texas Remote

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing maintaining and optimizing highperformance enterprise database solutions. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and contribute to largescale projects ensuring data integrity and availability across various environments. This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database technologies and experience working with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop maintain and optimize Oracle databases for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with application development teams business stakeholders and partners to enhance database performance and scalability.
• Build and manage databases using a variety of web platform technologies such as Java/J2EE SOAP/REST web services Spring JPA jQuery AngularJS IBM WebSphere Oracle and PostGreSQL.
• Perform advanced logical database administration performance monitoring and tuning.
• Provide databaserelated support for development testing and defect resolution.
• Utilize Agile development practices including backlog grooming and user story development.
• Support production development and test environments including providing 24/7 oncall support to ensure high availability.
• Develop and modify Linux shell scripts for daytoday LDBA tasks.
• Design and develop CI/CD workflows for database automation using tools like Jenkins or similar platforms.
• Implement advanced SQL and PL/SQL code development and optimization.
• Utilize Oracle APEX for development as required.
• Participate in performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure application/query optimization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in implementing administering managing and monitoring databases in production and nonproduction environments.
• 8 years of advanced knowledge in developing and optimizing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
• 8 years of experience with database automation and CI/CD workflows using automation platforms such as Jenkins.
• 8 years of handson experience with APEX development.
• 8 years of experience leading complex initiatives for performance tuning improvements including the use of Explain Plan and other optimization techniques.
• 8 years of experience supporting crossfunctional teams in optimizing data queries and application performance.
• Indepth knowledge of Oracle internal views builtin functions tablespace consolidation partition analysis and index analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex database issues in both development and production environments with Oracle 11/19c on Solaris/Linux systems.
• Strong experience in SQL/PLSQL tuning and troubleshooting including the use of Oracle native tools like Oracle SQL Developer.
• 8 years of handson experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin including creating data models using techniques like star schema.
• 8 years of experience developing tools using SQL PL/SQL and Linux shell scripts to support multiple environments.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working on largescale development projects using Agile methodology.
• Expertise in working with Oracle 19c database technology.
