You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs an Engineering Technologist you ll be at the forefront of designing and optimizing manufacturing processes. Your role involves creating precise 3D CAD models and CNC files to guide the production of quality products. Collaborating with customers and colleagues you ll help drive the design and development of heat transfer coils and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Design & Documentation: Develop CAD drawings (SolidWorks) and CNC files to support manufacturing needs.
Process Improvement: Identify ways to enhance efficiency and quality in existing manufacturing processes and help implement new standards.
Prototyping & Testing: Work with the team to develop and test new and existing products ensuring accurate documentation.
Materials Sourcing: Assist with sourcing and selecting materials that meet engineering and production requirements.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Partner with departments like Production and Purchasing to resolve any design material or production issues.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with health and safety regulations while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Engineering Technologist Certificate/Diploma with a focus on digital technology or manufacturing.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment (preferred).
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.
Strong background in mechanical design and drawing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong organizational problemsolving and analytical abilities.
Familiarity with ERP software and the ability to assist in its management is a plus.
