Position: Manager Logistics

Qualification & Experience: Graduate / Post graduate with 1520 years of experience in Logistics Operations especially in the EMS Industry.

Work Location: Mysore Karnataka (State) India.

Position Summary: The Logistics Manager will oversee and manage all logistics operations with a specific focus on customs compliance DGFT regulations and obtaining necessary licenses such as Advance/EPCG/SCOMET. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of international trade and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Customs Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to all customs regulations and procedures.
  
• Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance of goods.
  
• Monitor changes in customs laws and regulations and adjust practices accordingly.
  

DGFT Coordination:

• Manage all dealings with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
  
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for export and import licensing.
  
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of DGFT policies and procedures.
  

Licensing Expertise:

• Oversee the application and procurement of Advance EPCG and SCOMET licenses.
  
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather required documentation and ensure timely submissions.
  
• Track and manage license renewals and compliance with license conditions.
  

Logistics Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize supply chain efficiency.
  
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement.
  

Vendor Management:

• Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders customs brokers and other logistics partners.
  
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure costeffective solutions.
  

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the logistics team providing training on customs and regulatory requirements.
  
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement.
  

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance metrics customs compliance and licensing status.
  
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping of all logistics transactions and compliance documentation.
