You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. In this role you will manage the companys financial operations maintain accurate accounting records and contribute to financial planning and analysis. You will ensure internal controls are in place manage budgets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Your expertise in accounting systems and software like QuickBooks will be critical in streamlining financial processes and supporting financial decisionmaking.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage company finances by preparing financial statements budgets and reports.
Analyze income and expenditure accounts and oversee budget creation and monitoring.
Maintain accurate accounting records including ledgers journals registers and individual accounts.
Reconcile financial operations and verify source documents such as invoices and expense vouchers.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in preparing and filing tax returns ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Monitor changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to stay compliant.
Organize and maintain all endofyear financial records and assist with internal and external audits.
Supervise invoicing payments and maintain an updated contract filing system.
Conduct periodic audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist with budget preparation perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
Organize and manage source documents financial files and related accounting information.
Stay up to date with accounting policies and regulations to ensure compliance.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite particularly Excel Word and Outlook.
Indepth understanding of accounting principles financial processes and tax regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proactive motivated and able to work flexibly and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
