Based in Tooting our clients are seeking an experienced Nursery Chef who is a skilled Chef working with the current Kitchen Team creating delicious culinary experiences for our children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation a good awareness of nutrition and healthy eating and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The role is based on a 40 hr working week Monday to Friday with salary c 28k plus loads of great benefits.

Requirements
Ideally you will have
Previous experience in a similar role
Food & Hygiene Level Certificate Level 3 ( or at least a level 2)
Proven experience as a Chef
Cooking and preparing meals for 150 plus children
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations food production and culinary techniques
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Proficient in menu planning recipe development and cost control
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with staff at all levels effectively
