Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a welcoming twoform entry primary school in Birmingham which is seeking a passionate and proactive Nursery Teacher Lead to guide their nursery class starting January 2025. This role is perfect for an aspiring educator to take on a Nursery Teacher Lead position within a vibrant early years setting even if you dont yet hold formal qualifications. Responsibilities of the Nursery Teacher Lead:

  • As a Nursery Teacher Lead you will create and deliver interactive and ageappropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework catering to childrens developmental needs.
  • Leading the nursery class the Nursery Teacher Lead will foster a safe supportive and engaging environment preparing children for primary education within a twoform entry school setting.
  • The Nursery Teacher Lead will work with nursery assistants and early years staff to plan coordinate and deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and joy in learning.
  • Communicating with parents and carers the Nursery Teacher Lead will keep them informed on their childs progress and achievements.
  • Collaborating with the wider school team the Nursery Teacher Lead will ensure smooth transitions for children moving from nursery to primary supporting them as they progress through the EYFS.
