Job Summary:
The Linux Cloud Administrator will be responsible for deploying managing and maintaining Linuxbased systems in cloud environments. This role involves ensuring the reliability security and performance of our cloud infrastructure as well as collaborating with development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy configure and maintain Linux servers in cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect cloudbased Linux systems.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and Linux administration.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with configuration management tools ( Ansible Puppet Chef).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (RHCE AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
