Technology Business Management (TBM Certified) Analyst

Job Description:

IBM seeks Technology Business Management (TBM) Analysts to support TBM Operations for
IBM ApptioOne clients. TBM Analysts are strategic enabler for IBM clients to improve cost
quality and value of technology products and services as well as improving expense ratios and
operational excellence. TBM requires collaboration with client leaders in Technology Finance
and Business Units to analyze consumption trends understand cost pressures and anticipate
emerging technologies. Works in collaboration with the client serving as a strategic partner to
technology organization by helping to drive the adoption of the TBM practice through cost
modeling trend analysis and insight hunting. The TBM Analyst creates reports that enable
insight hunting and value management. Job duties include maintaining cost models
configuration rules and data management.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Technical/IT field
Minimum of 3 years Technology / Finance or TBM work experience required.
Deep understanding of IT agile consumption drivers budgets and financial analysis.
Proficient communication and presentation skills
Experience in change management
Expert analytical skills
SQL data modelling and relational database concepts
Certifications in Technology Business Management (TBM) and knowledge of TBM
processes and methodologies
Experience with Apptio configuration and report writing
