Job Description
*currently only candidate based in Malta will be considered
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer you will play a critical role in building scalable highperformance web applications. You will work with cuttingedge technologies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Our client is looking for someone who can not only write elegant maintainable code but also provide technical leadership and help guide the direction of our clients frontend development. Tasks
- Designing developing and maintaining userfacing applications
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features as well as working with software architects to improve the performance and scalability of the software
- Writing clean efficient and welltested code
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Identifying and addressing technical and design challenges and helping with decisions on the architecture of the system
- Staying uptodate on new technologies and industry trends and incorporating them into the design and development process as appropriate
- Ensuring the software is scalable maintainable and secure
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in FE Development
- iGaming background will be considered a strong asset
- Strong experience with React.js and/or Angular
- A determined focused team player who can communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with functional programming ideally with Typescript Node.js and related technologies
- Experience with frontend build systems NPM / Yarn and NX
- Experience in API methodologies including REST and GraphQL
- Strong experience with HTML and CSS
- Familiar with containerised environments using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge and/or experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Microfrontends and/or Headless CMS is considered an asset
- Proficient in English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
