Application Developer
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to support our client in the insurance industry. In this role you will work on maintaining and improving Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) systems develop Workday integrations and provide technical support. You will have the opportunity for conversion to a fulltime role based on your performance and the business needs of the client.

5month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 40 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to develop or redesign software components and applications.
Act as a technical expert leading efforts in modeling simulation and analysis.
Develop Workday integrations using Studio EIB Core Connectors RaaS Reports BIRT Webservice Extend and payroll integrations (PECI PICOF).
Create validation rules and work on business processes for Workday HCM systems.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving Workday integration issues.
Ensure compliance with security and quality standards in all projects.
Adapt and thrive in a dynamic evolving environment with tight project deadlines.
Follow iterative and Agile SDLC methodologies to deliver highquality solutions.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or a related technical field.
5 years of experience configuring Workday integrations (Studio EIB Core Connectors RaaS Reports BIRT Webservice Extend Payroll integrations like PECI PICOF Business processes and validation rules).
5 years of experience with HR systems including Workday or ADP Global View and familiarity with SaaS applications such as Compass and Salesforce.
Experience building Workday integrations between Workday internal systems and external vendors.
Workday certification.
Experience with Agile delivery.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge of Workday Extend and payroll systems (an asset).
Requirements gathering experience (nice to have).
