Position Overview:
India has a fast growing semiconductor sector and many multinational companies are setting up and running their R&D center in India.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D Manager with indepth experience in V93000 testers to lead our research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in semiconductor test solutions and a proven track record of managing complex projects. This role requires expertise in the V93000 platform strategic thinking and excellent leadership abilities to drive innovation and deliver highquality test solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Lead mentor and develop a team of engineers and researchers working on the V93000 tester platform. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
Product Development: Oversee the design development and enhancement of test solutions utilizing the V93000 tester. Ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and meet all technical and performance requirements.
Technical Expertise: Apply deep technical knowledge of the V93000 tester to guide the development of new features and capabilities. Provide technical guidance and problemsolving support to team members.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for R&D projects aligning with company goals and market needs. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in test methodologies and technologies.
Project Management: Manage project timelines resources and budgets. Ensure that development processes are efficient and that project milestones are achieved.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including hardware and software engineers product managers and customers to ensure that test solutions meet market requirements and customer expectations.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes project status and technical specifications. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and key achievements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field. PhD is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor test development with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Extensive experience with the V93000 tester platform is required.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of V93000 tester architecture capabilities and applications. Experience with related test methodologies and software tools.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team manage complex projects and drive innovation.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
ProblemSolving: Demonstrated problemsolving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions.

1. Relevant work experience in physical design implementation of large ASICs (100 to 400 million gates complexity). 2. Demonstrated strong technical hands-on competency in using leading edge physical design EDA tools in projects. 3. In-depth CPU/DSP architecture/algorithm working knowledge and related physical design implementation knowledge highly advantageous. 4. Utilize commercial and in-house EDA tools for the design and implementation of 100 ~ 400 million gate integrated circuits in 7nm/5nm/3nm/2nm process technologies. 1. Familiarity with one or more VLSI design tools for Place&Route, verilog simulation, DRC/LVS verification, timing analysis, scripting languages. 2. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux is advantageous.
