Job Description

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and driving the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy across the business following the Lean Production System (LPS) methodology. This individual will lead crossfunctional teams promote a culture of Lean and Six Sigma and identify opportunities for operational improvements that lead to cost reduction increased efficiency and enhanced product quality.

The role involves working closely with various departments particularly on the manufacturing floor to ensure the successful adoption of CI methodologies. The CI Supervisor will be accountable for leading Kaizen events managing employee training on Lean Six Sigma principles and working with leaders across the organization to meet and exceed operational targets.



Requirements

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a crossfunctional role including project/program management responsibilities.
  • At least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement methodologies particularly Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Proven experience in leading Black Belts and managing improvement projects across multiple supply chain functions.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing operations management or supply chain environments.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Proficient in leading and facilitating Kaizen events and problemsolving workshops.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and improve operational efficiency.
  • High level of business acumen critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication skills able to influence and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Certified Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt preferred.
  • Flexibility ability to manage ambiguity and resultoriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the implementation of Lean Production System (LPS) principles throughout the organization.
  • Motivate and coach employees in continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
  • Promote the use of Daily Lean Management (DLM) tools including Gemba walks tiered board systems and leader standard work.
  • Conduct gap analysis and drive policy deployment strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings process improvements and automation initiatives to optimize workflows.
  • Lead and manage Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects aimed at improving productivity and reducing waste.
  • Oversee training programs for employees to build Lean Six Sigma competencies within the organization.
  • Ensure proper reporting tracking and auditing of continuous improvement initiatives to measure performance.
  • Regularly communicate progress to upper management and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration or related field (Master s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt required Master Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proven ability to implement process improvements.
  • Excellent leadership coaching and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to various regional locations.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
