Job Description

The Australian operations of our Multinational client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. In this role you will ensure timely and cost effective delivery of products managing the transportation and distribution of goods from manufacturer to consumer. You will analyse logistics data and collaborate with various stakeholders to provide efficient highquality logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers logistics providers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities include:
Coordinate logistics operations including domestic and international transportation storage and delivery.
Monitor quality delivery times and transport costs.
Prepare logistics reports updates and schedules.
Manage relationships and be able to negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and health and safety requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Understand and interpretation of tariff concession orders/rates.
Be able to work with internal stakeholders such as Purchasing and Quality.
Be customer driven in approach


Requirements

To be effective in the role you should have;
Degree in Supply Chain Logistics or equivalent.
First hand logistics experience and decision making in manufacturing/distribution environments.
Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle.
Power BI for dashboarding an advantage.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Be able to work across the organisation and with external providers.

To effectively complete this role you will need; - Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement. - Clear written and spoken communications in both English and Phutonguhua. - Competent in procurement processes. - Experience across supply chain and material planning. - Advanced Excel skills including macros and knowledge of MRP systems such as Oracle. - Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation abilities. - Flexible approach within a small dynamic team of purchasers. - Full working rights in Australia.
