Job Description

Position Overview: The Director of Financial Operations will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies of our company. This role involves managing financial planning budgeting forecasting and reporting as well as ensuring the integrity of financial statements and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and operations excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of driving financial performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the companys goals and objectives.
    • Oversee the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial reports.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Financial Operations Management:

    • Manage daytoday financial operations including accounting reporting and internal controls.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations accounting standards and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls and oversight.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decisionmaking.
    • Prepare and present financial information to stakeholders including the Board of Directors and external auditors.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the financial operations.
    • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in financial management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles practices and regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and driving strategic financial performance.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
