Job Description

Position Overview: The Senior Director of Diversity and Inclusion will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that promote diversity equity and inclusion across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and a passion for driving meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive D&I strategy aligned with the companys goals and values.
  • Partner with executive leadership to integrate D&I principles into all aspects of the business including recruitment retention employee development and organizational culture.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of programs and policies that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of D&I initiatives using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on D&I issues providing guidance and support to leaders and employees.
  • Foster an inclusive environment by facilitating training workshops and events that enhance cultural competency and awareness.
  • Collaborate with external partners and organizations to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in D&I.
  • Manage a team of D&I professionals providing mentorship and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Social Sciences or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in diversity and inclusion human resources or a related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful D&I strategies and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of D&I principles best practices and legal requirements.
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting to drive decisionmaking and measure the impact of D&I initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
