Position Overview: The Director of Employee Engagement will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance employee satisfaction motivation and retention. This role involves leading a team of HR professionals collaborating with senior leadership and using datadriven insights to create a positive and productive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive employee engagement strategies aligned with company goals and values.
- Design and implement programs that promote a positive workplace culture including recognition programs teambuilding activities and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement; recommend and drive initiatives based on findings.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to align engagement strategies with broader organizational objectives.
- Oversee internal communications ensuring transparent and effective messaging across all levels of the organization.
- Lead initiatives to enhance diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.
- Manage and mentor a team of employee engagement specialists providing guidance support and professional development.
- Monitor and report on engagement metrics providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in employee engagement and workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 7 years of experience in employee engagement human resources or a related field with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful employee engagement programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions based on insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams.
- Indepth knowledge of DEI principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools and familiarity with employee engagement platforms.
