Job Description
Position Name: Radiologic Technologist XRay
Location: Keene NH 03431
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeksAccepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: $2268 Weekly
Unit: Rad Tech XRay
Shifts: 12hr Days
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed 3 shifts per week. Week 1: Sunday 9a9.30p Thursday and Friday 7a7.30p Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 7a7.30p and Saturday 9a9.30p Holiday coverage if required
Position Requirements:
- Radiologic Technologist Experience: 1 year Required
- XRay Experience Required
- MUST be proficient/highly experienced with the following; Fluoroscopy Digital Radiography Portables & OR carm Required
- MUST have experience with ALL ages groups Required
- Previous travel experience Preferred
- Experience with surgery and mobile carm use Required
- Travel/contract experience Highly preferred
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- ARRT Certification Required
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC Required
- NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (Active or eligible to apply through reciprocity upon offer)
Job Description:
- Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.
- Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
- Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Operates film processing equipment.
- Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patients bedside.
