PowerBuilder Developer

Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Develop maintain and enhance applications using PowerBuilder SQL and related technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications and highquality solutions.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement software upgrades and enhancements.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing applications ensuring high performance reliability and security.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design coding testing and deployment.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications ensuring their availability and functionality.
• Create and maintain documentation for application development and support processes.
• Work closely with database administrators to design and maintain data models and perform database tuning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with PowerBuilder development.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server Oracle etc.) and proficiency in SQL programming.
• Experience with PowerBuilder IDE PFC (PowerBuilder Foundation Classes) and DataWindow technology.
• Understanding of software development best practices including version control code reviews and testing.
• Experience with integrating PowerBuilder applications with other technologies (e.g. web services APIs) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
