Job Description
Overview:
The role of Azure/Databricks/SQL/Snowflake Specialist is crucial to our organizations data management and analytics efforts. The specialist will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining data solutions using Azure Databricks SQL and Snowflake enabling our business to make datadriven decisions and derive valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data solutions on Azure Databricks SQL and Snowflake platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and tune data solutions for performance and scalability.
- Write complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL).
- Design and implement data warehousing and data modeling solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for datarelated issues.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools in the data space.
- Document technical solutions processes and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and experience with database management systems.
- Handson experience with Snowflake data platform and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Ability to optimize and troubleshoot data solutions for performance and scalability.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams.
- Certifications in Azure Databricks and Snowflake are a plus.
