Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL statements and queries for database systems.
- Develop test and maintain database solutions to ensure optimal data management and retrieval.
- Assist in the design and implementation of database structures and functionalities.
- Collaborate with other team members to understand and address database requirements.
- Perform data analysis and utilize SQL for data manipulation and reporting purposes.
- Identify and troubleshoot database issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in SQL and database technologies.
- Support in documenting database processes procedures and guidelines.
- Work on projects assigned by senior SQL developers or database administrators.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of SQL fundamentals and relational database concepts.
- Basic knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL Oracle or SQL Server.
- Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for various data manipulation tasks.
- Familiarity with database design principles and normalization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to interpret and address databaserelated issues.
- Good understanding of data modeling and schema design.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git would be a plus.
