Job Title: Lead Developer Symfony Framework (PHP)
Contract Type: Freelance
Location: Remote
Remuneration: Day Rate
Job Overview:
Were looking for an experienced Lead Developer with expertise in the Symfony framework to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable applications using Symfony guiding the development team and ensuring best coding practices. This role is ideal for a selfstarter who thrives in a remote setting values clean code and has a passion for problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test and maintain robust web applications using the Symfony framework (PHP).
- Migrate from old version to the latest one
- Lead and mentor a team of developers fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ensure highperformance scalable and secure solutions are delivered.
- Design database structures and optimize query performance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and implement new features.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer with a strong focus on Symfony framework (5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL and frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs version control (Git) and modern deployment practices.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
- Experience in agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS Google Cloud or Azure) is a plus.
