Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace products.
Oversee the design implementation and improvement of manufacturing systems and equipment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and certifications related to aerospace manufacturing.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design quality and production to ensure seamless integration of new products into manufacturing.
Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency reduce costs and enhance product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing processes.
Manage the introduction of new technologies and automation to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing engineering department.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field; Master s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes materials and technologies.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing.
