Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering and managing anesthesia for patients undergoing cardiac procedures
• Monitoring and managing the patients vital signs throughout the surgical process
• Assessing and addressing the patients cardiac and hemodynamic status
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions
• Providing postanesthesia care and pain management for cardiac surgery patients
• Participating in preoperative evaluation and preparation of cardiac surgery patients
• Utilizing advanced cardiac anesthesia techniques and technologies
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives related to cardiac anesthesia
• Supervising and mentoring anesthesia residents and fellows
• Participating in oncall duties as required
• Communicating effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
• Adhering to regulatory and ethical standards in cardiac anesthesia practice
• Participating in continuing education and professional development activities
• Contributing to research and academic pursuits in cardiac anesthesia

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree and completion of an Anesthesiology residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology
• Licensure to practice medicine and anesthesia in the relevant location
• Proven experience in providing anesthesia for cardiac surgery patients
• Expertise in cardiac physiology and hemodynamic management
• Proficiency in critical care skills and management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Thorough knowledge of cardiac anesthesia techniques and equipment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
