Requirements

Preoperative Assessments:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their medical history current medications and anesthesiarelated risks.
  
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
  

Anesthesia Administration:

• Assist in the administration of various types of anesthesia (general regional and local) according to established protocols.
  
• Ensure the proper setup and functioning of anesthesia equipment.
  

Monitoring and Patient Care:

• Continuously monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgical procedures.
  
• Recognize and respond to any signs of distress or complications promptly.
  

Postoperative Management:

• Provide care in the postoperative recovery area monitoring patients as they regain consciousness and manage pain control.
  
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and recovery expectations.
  

Emergency Preparedness:

• Participate in drills and training to prepare for emergency situations related to anesthesia.
  
• Respond effectively to anesthesiarelated emergencies ensuring patient safety at all times.
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with surgeons nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  
• Maintain clear communication with patients regarding anesthesia procedures and any concerns.
  

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of anesthesia administration patient responses and any complications encountered during procedures.
  

Professional Development:

• Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in anesthesiology.
  
• Participate in departmental meetings case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
