Job Description: Senior Equity Research Analyst/ Junior Fund Manager
Alpha Alternatives is a multiasset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore with over 12000 crores of assets under management and deep focus on alpha generation. We are passionate about finding alternative investment opportunities that can deliver superior riskreturn characteristics. We operate across various alternative spaces like Equities Commodities Absolute Returns Structured Credit Fixed Income Quant and Infrastructure. Our products span across various investment structures such as NBFC (NDSI) AIF (Cat II & III) PMS RIA and Gift City.
Our team consists of 170 people who are vastly experienced across domestic and global hedge funds and financial institutions and have strong academic credentials at top universities. We are strongly performance driven and look for people who share a similar DNA.
We are looking to hire a Senior Research Analyst / Junior Fund Manager for our longonly equities investing team. The person will be working in a team managing about Rs. 1000cr AUM across domestic and international funds which are scaling up rapidly. The person can scale up over time and could get an opportunity to run an independent product.
Qualification & Background:
- Preferably candidates should possess 812 years of investment experience ideally with early training at multinational banks such as GS or JPM
- Extensive experience in researching multiple sectors spanning both sellside and buyside perspectives
- Demonstrated track record of generating alpha and generating successful investment recommendations
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with track record of building complex financial models conducting detailed financial statement analysis valuation and investment analysis
- Strong academic credentials from top commerce/engineering/CA/business schools

Compensation:
Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will be at par with industry norms. Compensation will have a significant element of performancelinked bonus.
This will be a fulltime Work from Office role at our Mumbai office. Candidates from outside Mumbai must have clarity on relocating to Mumbai.
